Come on in…the water is fine!
February 27th, 2012Now that was crazy…why would 30 people take the plunge into the freezing waters of Casco Bay on a frigid February afternoon? Well, why not?…why not? For one thing it is a great fundraiser as our “friends” are all too willing to sponsor us in this madness but more importantly I believe God wants us get outside of the box and experience the exciting adventure this life is meant to be. In short, ADios Ministries is an organization that equips and empowers others to serve. Our focus is Central America, lately Nicaragua in particular.
This March 11 students from the Scarborough High Spanish class joined ADios Ministries on a missions trip to the Island of Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua to help an orphanage and school for the deaf.
